I never thought a loaf of bread would change my life, but here I am, working in a centuries-old Dutch windmill bakery. My name is Ethan, I’m 23, and baking is my passion.

During the COVID lockdowns, I discovered baking—first as a hobby, then as an obsession. The magic of turning simple ingredients into something nourishing fascinated me. Soon, my tiny kitchen became my creative escape, and I realized I wanted more.

So, I took a leap. I left university to pursue baking full-time. It wasn’t easy, but I knew this was my path. Two years ago, I found my dream job in a windmill bakery, where I experiment with breads and pastries daily. The scent of fresh dough, the rhythm of kneading—it never gets old.

This year, I started this account to inspire others. I want to show that following your passion is worth it. Cooking is more than just food; it’s creating magic. If something sets your soul on fire, chase it. It’s always worth it.
